The application of ion migration technology in the emergency field

The 21st Fire Protection Exhibition was held at the Beijing Shunyi International Convention and Exhibition Center. After visiting the exhibition, I gained a more intuitive understanding of the applications and products of ion mobility spectrometry technology in the emergency field.

I saw ion mobility spectrometry products at the booths of three companies: CNNC (China National Nuclear Corporation), BEIJING INSTRUMENTS GROUP, and Kadinuo Technology. Their exhibited products include portable toxic and harmful substance detectors, micro rapid gas chromatographs, portable chemical warfare agent detectors, and handheld toxic agent alarms.

All these products can be traced to suppliers such as CSSC Anpu, Raytheon Optoelectronics, Suzhou Weimu, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, and Inficon. The substances detected are basically CWAs (Chemical Warfare Agents) plus TICs (Toxic Industrial Chemicals).
